About

Dear friends: Greetings:
Pakistan is facing serious challenges and problems. ActionPakistan is  a project to analyze these issues, debate on these issues, and offer solutions.

True National consensus is vital towards a prosper Pakistan.
We encourage our government leaders, members of the NGO’s, international audience,  and technocrats from around the world to come and join us in this very important discussion. We are presenting 7 core issues that we believe are at the center of our problems.

The Seven Core Issues

>Government Overhaul (top to bottom)
>Law and Order (security)
>Poverty
>Education
>Economy
>HealthCare
>Infrastructure

ActionPakistan supports the bold initiative undertaken by GEO TV and Times of India- Aman ki Asha project.
People-to-people verdict: Peace is the answer . According to Times of India about two-thirds of those polled in India and almost three-fourths of those in Pakistan said they desire a peaceful relationship between the two countries.  ActionPakistan endorses this project because peace comes with prosperity.  However, ActionPakistan outlines the following Aman Ki Asha ActionPlan for Pakistan & India.

A joint privately funded India-Pakistan Regional Planning & Development Council for three border segments.
Divide the India-Pakistan border into three segments and develop regional cooperative technical advisory councils for each of the three segments. We reommend a Northern Regional Planning & Development Council, Central Regional Planning & Development Council, and a Southern Regional Planning & Development Council. Such a council should comprise of engineers, city planners, project developers, education experts, and energy experts to study and jointly recommend collective regional solutions. We also recommend that this cooperative effort to be sponsored by private entities on both sides of the border. We encourage the Jang Group, Times of India, the Tata group, and others to collectively fund such an endeveour.

ActionPakistan:
